"I may have never had a home but being here at my school since freshman
year has felt like a home. I see the same people everyday. My friends have
become more than just friends and my teachers are more than just teachers
to me. Many of my teachers are Latinos and I can really relate to them. My
teachers that are not Latinos get along with everyone. At my school the
race, color, or language does not matter. We all get along just like if we
were a family."
